Shared Living Providers Care
A shared Living Provider is considered a contractor who cares for a participant (i.e., An individual with intellectual and/ or developmental disabilities). The participant is placed in the home of a person who wishes to provide love and care for that individual in the home thereby bringing the participant into the family as a member. This type of service creates a variety of housing and support options for our participants. Living with a family creates a greater bond of love between our participants and those that serve them. This allows a participant the option of being either in the group home or with a family.
